PILATES
Stabilization through core muscles (abdominals and spine) is strongly emphasized, along with coordination, flexibility and strength.
Pilates is successful as a balanced fitness program and for injury rehabilitation.
Through breath and proper recruitment of muscles, it is an efficient, intelligent and safe way to achieve better posture and a healthier, more balanced body.
GROUP PILATES
In Pilates classes there are a maximum of 5 people which allows the instructor to give corrections in a safe and fun environment.
We use a variety of Pilates equipment (Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Spine Corrector and High Barrel) as well as mats, foam rollers, TRX straps and other accessories.
We also include some introductory work on the Gyrotonic equipment.
